Janice Ann (Annie) St. Germain has been in the administrative support field for over 30 years. Originally from Upstate New York , Annie has lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for over 20 years. She has operated an administrative consulting and technical support business (in between and in conjunction with corporate gigs) as a self-employed freelance contractor since the late 90s. Services are provided to anyone who owns a business, large and small corporations, and individuals. You don’t need Annie in your office to access her talents. She is a champ at ‘offsite support’, offering stellar services across the USA. Annie is a very organized, intuitive, technically oriented individual, has an awesome work ethic, and is adamant about customer service and meeting and/or exceeding client expectations.

I’m Annie St. Germain, and I own and operate an administrative consulting, technical support and design services company called Keep It Simple Admin. I work out of my high tech home office to bring you the support services you need. My passion is helping people understand what they’re best at, enabling them to find (or get back to) their creative path, and letting me handle the rest.

I have years of experience in the corporate world. I have dealt with all kinds of personalities, been thrown into all kinds of job situations, environments and work tasks. If working in the corporate world has taught me anything, it is how to be flexible, how to be innovative, and how to say no to doing something you know is not going to bring you closer to living your passion.

Sometimes, we as business owners find ourselves undeniably caught up in the minutia of the tasks that keep our business running smoothly.  The bookkeeping and accounting, the contact management, the updates to our Web site, the Blog posts, the social media posting and management. I think you catch my drift.

We lose our focus. We seem to forget the reasons we went into business to begin with. We undeniably lose our passion. The main reason I have chosen this business path for myself, is that I absolutely LOVE helping people either find their true passions, or find a way to get back to them.

I am at my best when I am running my own show and sharing my creative thought processes with others. I am a bit of an autodidact, kind of like Leonardo Da Vinci (but not quite so genius 🙂 ). I have a bit of tertiary education, although I have taught myself most of what I know about computers and software, and technology in general. I read and research extensively. I have a particular incite into human nature, but that does not mean I always understand why some individuals act and behave the way they do or say the things they say.

I love creating Web sites, managing social media accounts, working with time management, and keeping documents organized. I do all my own Web configuration and design, all my own bookkeeping, everything involved with running a business.

What do I do in my ‘spare’ time? I am a crafty lass. I sew. I knit. I crochet. I have another business called Annie’s Boho Boutique with both a stand alone Web site, and an Etsy Shop. This is where I offer items for sale that I design and put together. I deal mostly in tote bags, clutch handbags, purses and pouches, with a colorful, original, and somewhat bohemian style. And, I also sing in a band. To top it off, I am the Webmaster, a Board Member and Officer (Treasurer) for a non-profit organization called The Association Of New Mexico Activity Professionals.
